Automate, without letting go.

Marc Andria writing in a notebook at a café table, the street blurred behind the window.

In 1796, a wooden automaton carried tea to the guest, and stopped the moment the cup was lifted. The AI I build follows the same rule: it does the work, and stops the moment you take over.

『機巧図彙』寛政八年 Karakuri zui, 1796: the treatise that describes its mechanism.

Method

Three rules,
written in a notebook.

00

Everything we build follows three rules. Each one fits on a page.

04

The rest is written with you.

01 · hakobu

Carry.

The automaton carries the load: code, data, content, processes.

A crumpled sheet next to a folded paper crane.

02 · tomaru

Stop.

Closed by default. Nothing goes out until a human approves what matters.

The street blurred behind the café window, a tram passing.

03 · modoru

Return.

Nothing ships without proof. And everything can return to a safe state.

Where AI does real work.

01

Agentic engineering

Harnesses that make AI prove its code works before it says “done”.

02

Automation

Agents and MCP servers plugged into existing tools, governed by their permissions.

03

Creative production

Image, voice, video: AI production pipelines run by directors, like Hyoshigi.

04

Consulting & workshops

Choosing the tools, framing the risks, training teams, on your real cases.

Founder

Marc Andria

Software engineer, AI catalyst, filmmaker.

Seventeen years of software engineering, a decade of them on business-critical enterprise software. There he designed MCP servers that are closed by default and governed by the application's permissions, which became the model for the product's other domains. He builds test-driven agentic harnesses, from specification to delivery.

Away from code: he directs short films and music videos, and once competed internationally in karate.

He is building Hyoshigi, an AI film studio: from one sentence to the final cut. Launching soon.
